We had a great stay thanks Gay. You are a very welcoming host,
and we loved our room, the bed was so comfortable. Your house is
charming, very English cottage style, especially loved the latch
doors and bay windows! Would love to come back to stay, next time
hope to bring the kids, they would love it!

Way out in the countryside we found Gaye's Shang-ri-la. We are
happy to have had a glimpse into it and would gladly have stayed another
month or two. Our friendly and life-wise hostess has made our short

Loved the attention to detail!. The bathroom in particular made
us feel welcome to sample the great range of specialist products
- very generous! And the doors! Apart from ordinarily loving wood,
the fact that these doors had wooden latches and locking was an absolute
gem. We'll be back.

What a lovely find. This place is a little piece of paradise. A
beautiful old villa surrounded by lots of farm animals and native
bush. The service is wonderful and friendly in that good old kiwi
way. I recommend this place to all. If you are just passing through
or in need of solitude, this is the perfect place for it. Dave, Linda
